My Web Zip is an on-the-fly archive creater and extractor. We currently support zip, rar, tar and tgz file archives. To unzip a file, simply go to the unzip section and upload your archive. Alternatively, you can create a file archive. Simply go to our zip section and upload up to 10 files and specify which compression format you want. We will then zip up your files and provide you with the download link.

To unzip a file archive. First, click on the browse button, a file dialog box will open. Navigate to the .zip/.rar/.tar/.tgz file you want to unzip. Click on it, and then open. The file dialog box will close. Now click 'Unzip.' If the file is very large it may take several moments to upload. After it has uploaded, you will see a listing of all the files that were in the zip. Click any file to download it. If you need any more help, please check out our tutorial.

What is My Web Zip?
My Web Zip is a service that will create or extract .zip, .rar, .tar and .tgz file archives on the web without any external software. Simply select the files you want to zip, or archive you want to unzip, and the files will be uploaded to our server, we will automatically process them and provide you with the download link(s).

How does it work? / How come I don't need zipping software?
All the files are uploaded to our server and we process them, then provide you with the download link. You dont need any software because the actual creation and extraction of the file archives occurs on our servers.
